This week’s wedding photography: Always learning, always improving

With every wedding, event or photo shoot I learn something new and I strongly believe that every time I pick up my camera I become a better photographer (which is why I probably why I never really put it down!).

After every wedding I always think ‘this is my best bunch of photos’ because every time I use the skills I leant from previous weddings.

Being a photographer and running a business means I have a lot of ‘Oh that’s how moments’ and I love the fact my job is so creative and gets me thinking.

I am so pleased with the way the photos from my latest wedding assignment on Saturday have turned out and I currently believe they are my best bunch of wedding photos (until the next time!).

The wedding was held at Sourton Church and the reception at Roadford Lake. The bride’s family are from Okehampton so it was a lovely local wedding. The bride’s twin sister followed her down the aisle behind her playing the violin. I felt this was a lovely personal touch and one I had not seen before.

Here are a selection of some of my favourite photos (click any one to see larger pictures and slideshow!)..
