On saturday we had our first wedding of the year, at Muddifords Court Country House, Cullompton.

After the winter we’ve had of rain, rain and more rain the chance that saturday would be a beautiful sunny day was highly unlikely! However saturday morning we woke to find it was going to be a lovely day with constant sunshine and blue skies!

The day started for us, 10am at Kat’s fathers house in Brampford Speke. We arrived to women getting ready here there and everywhere, in just about every room of the house. Kat had 5 bridesmaids and 1 flower girl, so plenty going on! Kat wore a beautiful white lace dress with her bridesmaids in navy blue Coast dresses.

Amy nipped off early to get to the church that was also in Brampford Speke so not too far to go, this was so she could photograph Roger and his groomsmen as well as the guests arriving. The boys wore navy suits with brown shoes and purple cravats. This included their little page boy too!

Myself and the bridal party arrived just before 12 and they were all in very high sprits. – and no I don’t mean what was in there hip flasks!

After a beautiful ceremony we took photos outside the church and then headed off to Muddifords Court.

They had dressed Muddifords Court beautifully with the help from Weddings by claire. Kat loves spring and all the flowers that are out, so all around the room there were daffodils and tulips. This looked wonderful and they definitely nailed the spring wedding vibe.

We took lots of photos around the grounds at Muddifords before they sat down to eat and made sure we got lots of spring flowers in the background too.

They had a lovely meal by the fabulous Keepers Cottage -(Highly recommend Ashley and his team!)

After this they then danced the night away to a great band called New Heroes.

Safe to say we loved our first wedding of 2016 and so pleased we could be part of Kat and Roger’s day.
