On saturday we had our second wedding of the year, at Woodbury Park. Saturday morning was chilly but it was perfect weather to be a Devon Wedding photographer with light cloud and no rain!
The day started for us, 12am at Sam’s mothers house in Exmouth. We arrived to a very relaxed house with Sam, her mum, and bridesmaids all pretty much ready and just having a chilled morning. Sam wore a beautiful white silk dress with a lovely lace back and her bridesmaids in royal blue Coast dresses.
Amy popped off early to get to the church that was also in Exmouth so not too far to go, this was so she could photograph Dan and his groomsmen as well as the guests arriving. The boys wore light sliver cravats with navy blue suits.
The bridesmaids left the house at 1.30 to go to the church, leaving myself, Sam and her Dad at the house which gave them a lovely bit of time to have a chat and gather together their nerves.
After the ceremony at the beautiful St John’s in the wilderness Church. We took group photos inside the church and then headed off to Woodbury Park.
Woodbury was the perfect wedding venue for a brisk spring day. It offered a large function room that was beautifully decorated to match the bride and grooms colour scheme as well as large grounds for wonderful photos. All day not only were the Bride, Groom and guests well looked after but so were we, something that always makes us like a venue even more!
We took lots of photos around the grounds at Woodbury with the golf course providing a lovely backdrop. As a Devon Wedding Photographer we would highly recommend Woodbury as it’s great for all aspects of your day.
After there meal, we had the great speeches followed on nicely by a fantastic wedding singer Nick Coles.
We had a great day with Samantha and Dan and wish them all the best for the future.
